Cyclocross Night Racing with Urban lights!

By Kevin Yackle

The Sagebrush CX #4 was a great event, not only was it our 3rd ever CX race, but is was our 1st ever Night Race.  Jake was racing in the Men’s B Class and Nye the Men’s C Class.  The Men’s C would be 1st to be contested followed by the Men’s B.  Nye’s race would be 30 minutes and Jake’s 45 minutes.  The relatively short time length of the races and the urban courses would be the key to our choice of which Light and Motion Bike Lights we would use for this night’s race.  The Urban Line up of lights would fit our needs perfectly.  Bright, compact, light weight and all-in-one unit made it an ideal choice for the night’s festivities!

We mounted an Urban on the handle bars and another Urban on our helmets.   Both Jake’s and Nye’s races went flawlessly!  They had the brightest light combinations on the course!  Over the course of the two races the Urban’s output was strong and consistently at its brightest.  Jake rolled to a 6th place finish in the tough Men’s B class and Nye racked up a 2nd in the Men’s C.  They both just had a blast rocketing around the obstacle-laden course without a care in the world.  The Light and Motion Urban Bike Lights made traversing the course pure pleasure!
