The power of bikes to create good in the world is undeniable. Two-wheeled transportation is helping to shape everything from sustainable urban communities to international development. In Oakland, this is certainly the case, thanks to a movement called Scraper Bikes.

Led by Tyrone Stevenson Jr. — fondly referred to as Baby Champ — the Scraper Bike Movement “seeks to capture the creativity of youth living within dangerous communities. It gives them a positive outlet that is fun, educational, and promotes healthy lifestyles.”
